Thankfulness

~A picture I took a few days back while driving to another family's house.~

Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.
   Andrew Murray

I think so often we forget to thank God for all He has done. To remember Him throughout our day in all the little things. We to often forget that even the smallest of things he created for our pleasure and His glory and we should remember to thank Him for that.  I thought I would do a post saying some (of the many) things God has blessed me with today, though there are way to much to count all:-)

~Waking up and seeing sweet faces all around the house~
~Staying home with the 2 cutest little brothers you ever have seen.~
~Having the energy to deep clean my room.~
~My parents coming home with a car full of groceries.~
~having my mom by me some special cups (that are very cute, btw).~
~Listening to a message by John Piper, and remembering the quote, "God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in Him".~
~Getting to see friends that I haven't seen in some time.~
~Going to the park with those friends ^ and admiring the beauty of Gods creation.~
~Smelling the fresh air and remembering, its Spring.~
~Playing a video game with a friend that I haven't played in years.~
~Laughing so hard I cried.~Proverbs 17:22  A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
~Coming home to Kyle (and of course everyone else:)~
~Learning about joy, and remembering that Gods desire is for us to be joyful.~
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always.....
~Reading the book 'Set Apart Femininity"~
