About Me//

I have come to the realization that it is not about me at all. I have no worth in and of myself, there is nothing that I have done that is good. It is only in and through Jesus Christ that I have any glimmer of beauty and hope. I am crucified with Christ, and am no longer my own,  He has rescued, redeemed, and bought me with a price...He is my first love, my Savoir, and beloved friend. He has loved me with a steadfast love that I am so undeserving of. I am so amazed at how big, great, and simply amazing HE is...and yet He chose to love me enough, to draw me to Himself. Because of all this, I am forever His.  I am a bond servant of my King. And yet, He doesn't treat me as one, He choose me, He loved me, He died for me, He beckons me into His very near presence. Because He first loved me, I now love Him, not out of obligation or have to, but because, I am in love with Him. No matter what I am feeling, I reckon it to be true, that I am IN CHRIST! I am not perfect my any means, but I am in Christ and because of that I am sitting at the right hand of the father, which means that He enables me to make every decision, it is no longer I that am talking, but Him. No longer I that am living, and yet I still live through Jesus Christ. Jesus is becoming sweeter and sweeter as days, months, and years pass. Through every trial and temptation, He is always faithful, though I fail, He doesn't, though I fall, He doesn't. He is so good, why do we waist time on anything beside Him, and Him alone.

I really love JESUS...and mint green, iced tea, candles, my mommy, Ellerslie, funny friends, hugs, rainstorms, baking, quietness, sounds of little ones, seeing the beauty of my Creator every where I turn, shabby chic, new journals, real people, Christmas, love,  my daddy, music, laser tag, a clean house, my 5 brothers,  sunsets, daydreaming, laughing, driving, adventure, my Bible, Psalms, chivalry, photography, Hebrews, my Bible study girls, surprises, summer nights, gift giving, hospitality, star gazing, and did I mention Jesus?~
