"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

No, I have not stopped blogging and I am not dead*smile*, just have been really busy...:-) I just thought I would tell yall that my Mom has been in the hospital , she went in to get a simple liver biopsy because she has liver disease ,well it went well. We were about to leave, when she started to have severe pain in her stomach area.[like the worst pain I have ever seen her in ] They kept giving her cat scans and finally after about 3 scans , they found out the she was having some internal bleeding:( Which is never good...her blood pressure kept going down and her labs were not what they should be and all the while still in really bad pain, they went in and stopped the bleeding. It has been a really stressful week, we were in ICU for a three days .A week full of holding our breaths ,and worrying but God has been there through all of this, and He still is. Mom finally came home today!!! YAY! After 10 days in the hospital lots of drama, some bad nurses missing her babies,no sleep, a collpased lung, high fevers, and in pain....our wonderful mom has come home!!!It has been lonely around here without her. She is our every thing!! We all love you mom so much!!! She is still in lots of pain when she moves at all. They sent her home with oxygen because she is having a hard time breathing from the pain:( and because she has a partially collapsed lung. The recovery is going to be around 2 to 3 month's and the pain is still going to be there for a while.....
This was right before the Biopsy, little did we know.... |
WITH MUCH LOVE,
Kelsey
For whatever was written was given to us for our learning, that through patience and comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4
